Dear Fiona,
I was trying to work out the other day just how long I have known you - it must be about 22 years! When I started out as Assistant Librarian at the Education Library Service in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, you were already a school librarian. You, and others who became friends as well as colleagues, inspired me to work in schools and were amazing sources of support and ideas.
Well, we are both older and, maybe, wiser now, but we still help and support each other. So this page is a tribute to you - determination, loyalty, love of literature, chutzpah, style, enthusiasm and passion!
You are and always have been a brilliant and fantastic school librarian, actress and friend - go get 'em!
